After a Sunday visit to Silverlake Flea in Los Angeles, I was amazed by the sheer abundance of vintage clothing. My mind was swirling with questions like, “Where did it all come from?”, “What kinds of people owned them?”, and “What did these pieces of fabric live through alongside their owners?” Running my hands over aged leather and weathered cotton, I knew clothing was more than just things people wear.
